Island Discovery

The second of my summer pieces! Ironically, even though I've spent the most time on this one, this is one of my least favorites, since the mistakes I made from rushing it early on later became unfixable. Ignore that, and focus on what I did do right.
I got to experiment with foliage a lot on this, and this is the first picture I've made of the man made of gold prior to having his trademark orange and yellow shirt, red pants, and orange bandana. What could this picture have to do with any of that? Who knows! My characters are fairly ridiculous.
Critiques appreciated, though I've heard all there is to hear on this particular piece, so suggestions may fall on deaf ears for being redundant.
